“With a sense of responsibility and after careful evaluation of all data, the difficult decision was made for the Anemos to leave the Aegean Sea Lines fleet and continue its course under a new ownership status,” the company notes.

In its announcement, the company points out that Anemos was acquired in 2023 with the aim of contributing to the service of the Western Cyclades, offering reliable and quality ferry connections for the residents, professionals and visitors of the islands.

The company emphasizes that during its operation, the ship consistently served the routes of the islands, winter and summer, even under difficult weather conditions, with the absolute priority being the safety of passengers, crew and ship.
