Intending to drive maritime and offshore energy innovation, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), a classification society, has forged a partnership with Seatrium Technology and Innovation, a technology subsidiary of Singapore’s offshore, marine, and energy engineering solutions specialist Seatrium.

The two players have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to advance innovation, regulatory alignment, and sustainable technologies across the maritime and offshore energy sectors.

Matthew Tremblay, ABS Senior Vice President of Global Offshore, commented: “This agreement positions ABS and Seatrium to work closely together at the intersection of innovation and regulation.
